Several rebels have filed nominations without the approval of the Congress party in different Assembly constituencies. This is a protest because they were not given B-forms. The last date for withdrawal is November 15, so the Congress party is making efforts to convince these dissenting members to withdraw their nominations.

To address the issue, AICC (TS) incharge Manikrao Thakre held talks with the rebels. He, along with PCC working president B Mahesh Kumar Yadav, spoke directly to the rebel candidates and explained the consequences of their actions. Some of the leaders were also assured that they would be given nominated posts once the Congress comes to power.

This situation has posed challenges in several constituencies such as Suryapet, Adilabad, Narsapur, Ibrahimpatnam, Dornakal, Jukkal, Banswada, Sircilla, Boath, Warangal (West), Wyra, and Palakurthy. In some cases, the original nominees were replaced, leading to rebels filing their own nominations. The Congress party is trying to resolve these issues by asking the rebel candidates to withdraw their nominations before the deadline.

Most of these rebel leaders were invited to the city and asked to withdraw their nominations in person. However, Ramesh Reddy of Suryapet was contacted by phone as he did not show up for the meeting.
