In an Ashirwada Sabha meeting held at the Ibrahimpatnam Municipal Center on Tuesday, Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhara Rao (KCR) emphasized the importance of informed voting, urging the public to consider the track record of candidates in terms of development. The event was organized in support of BRS MLA candidate Manchireddy Kishan Reddy.

CM KCR, addressing the gathering, highlighted the progress made by the BRS government in the last ten years, contrasting it with the Congress party’s 50-year tenure before the formation of Telangana. He cautioned voters against falling for false promises and deceptive tactics employed by opposition parties during the election season.

The Chief Minister called attention to various initiatives undertaken by the BRS government, including the increase in pension amounts, the successful Kanti Velugu program benefiting 3 crore people, and the Amma Odi scheme providing financial support for newborns. He responded to criticism from Congress leaders regarding Rythu Bandhu and electricity issues, urging the public not to be swayed by such statements.

CM KCR underscored the growth in the field of education, pointing out the establishment of residential schools converted into residential colleges. He cited key indicators of Telangana’s development, including per capita income and per capita electricity consumption, stating that the state now ranks first in the country with a per capita income of Rs. 3.18 lakhs.
