Finance Minister T Harish Rao, while in Gajwel, accused Pawan Kalyan and Y S Sharmila of betraying Telangana and supporting the BJP and Congress respectively. He made these remarks after inspecting Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s helipad site ahead of filing nominations in Gajwel.
Rao compared KCR to an AK-47, stating that DKs and PKs (referring to Pawan Kalyan) wouldn’t be effective when they have such a strong leader. He mentioned that the CM would also file nominations in Kamareddy and that a public meeting would be held in Gajwel on November 28.
The minister emphasized that the people of Gajwel were eagerly waiting to vote for KCR as a way of repaying their debt to him for the town’s unexpected development, as well as the development of Telangana as a whole. Rao added that Gajwel has seen significant progress and will continue to develop in the industrial sector.
