Adam Santosh Kumar, the Congress candidate for Secunderabad constituency, expressed confidence in winning with a majority of 50,000 votes. He made these remarks during a media conference at his residence in Tukaram Gate after filing his nomination. Kumar emphasized that the people desire change and will support Sonia Gandhi, who played a significant role in the formation of Telangana.
As part of TPCC President Revanth Reddy’s election campaign, Reddy will visit the Sitafalmandi Ambedkar statue during the assembly session on Thursday, the 9th. Kumar noted that Padmarao, his opponent, is not actively campaigning due to fear of losing. This is Kumar’s first opportunity to represent the Congress party in the local elections after 70 years.
Kumar confidently stated that the Congress party will form the government in the state and secure a victory in Secunderabad. He expressed gratitude for the thousands of Congress party workers who are tirelessly supporting him. Kumar also mentioned the positive response from the people regarding his campaign.
During the media conference, several Congress party leaders, including former corporator Adam Umadevi, NSUI state vice-president Adam Srujan, Ganta Raju Sagar, Dadiga Sandeep Raj, Kondal Venkateswar Rao, Waheed, Bablu, Chakra, Srinivas, Anil, Jayaraju, Shakeel, Pedda Waheed, and Raju were present.
