The United Muslim Forum in Hyderabad has expressed its support for BRS in their efforts to develop and improve the well-being of minorities. Leaders from the Muslim Forum met with BRS working president, KT Rama Rao, to discuss the positive changes that have occurred for minorities in Telangana since the formation of the state. They attributed these changes to the government’s annual welfare programs and substantial budget allocated for minority welfare.
One notable achievement mentioned by the Muslim Forum was the establishment of Gurukuls specifically for minority students, which has created opportunities for a brighter future. They also highlighted the Shadi Mubarak program, which provides support to impoverished families and helps Muslim girls access employment and educational opportunities. A memorandum was presented to address issues affecting minorities and propose additional measures for their welfare.
In response, KT Rama Rao emphasized that their government is committed to equal development for all, regardless of caste, religion, or region.
