AIMIM declares candidates for assembly elections

AIMIM, led by Asaduddin Owaisi, has released its first list of candidates for the upcoming assembly elections in Telangana. The party has announced a total of six candidates. Akbaruddin Owaisi, the younger brother of Asaduddin Owaisi, will be contesting from Chandrayanagutta assembly segment in Hyderabad for the sixth time.
Aside from the existing seven constituencies, AIMIM will also be contesting from Jubilee Hills and Rajendranagar. The candidates for Bahadurpura, Rajendranagar, and Jubilee Hills will be announced shortly by Asaduddin Owaisi.
The other candidates announced by the party are Jaffer Hussain Meraj for Yakutpura, Mir Zulfiqar Ali for Charminar, Ahmed Bin Abdullah Balala for Malakpet, Majid Hussain (former Mayor) for Nampally, and Kausar Mohiuddin for Karwan.
Mumtaz Ahmed Khan and Syed Ahmed Pasha Quadri, senior party leaders, will not be contesting in the assembly elections.
