The upcoming elections in Telangana are being described as a battle between the people of Telangana and the leaders in Delhi, according to KT Rama Rao, the working president of the BRS party. In a meeting with party leaders in Kamareddy, he mentioned that the Congress party is bringing in DK Shivakumar and Rahul Gandhi to challenge Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, while the BJP is bringing in PM Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, and other chief ministers from different states. Rao emphasized that this election is a fight between the rulers in Delhi and the people of Telangana.

Rao also criticized Rahul Gandhi, referring to him as a reader rather than a leader. He stated that the fight in Telangana is not between rulers and the common man, as Rahul claims, but between the rulers in Delhi and the people of Telangana. Rao expressed confidence that the people of Telangana will emerge victorious in this battle.

Rao reminded the audience that the people of Telangana have faced and overcome challenges in the past, including fighting against Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, and Sonia Gandhi, and are now fighting against Modi. He highlighted that Rahul Gandhi has never participated in any people’s movement or fought for the interests of the people. Rao assured that the four crore people of Telangana will retaliate against the rulers in Delhi through their votes in the election.

Rao urged people to remember the hardships they faced during Congress rule, such as lack of benefits for farmers, power and water problems, inadequate supply of seeds and fertilizers, and more. He mentioned that during Congress rule, people protested on the streets with empty pots demanding drinking water, and public representatives were afraid to visit villages during the summer season.

Rao criticized the Congress party for making false promises, citing their history of providing a meager pension of Rs 200 for six decades and now promising Rs 4,000. He stated that people do not trust the Congress leaders and their promises. Rao also criticized Revanth Reddy, a Congress leader, for his actions during the Telangana movement, and claimed that he does not have the stature to challenge KCR. He announced that KCR will file his nomination in Kamareddy on November 9 and hold a public meeting.

Rao expressed belief that the fate of Kamareddy will improve once KCR is elected. He mentioned that Congress leader Shabbir Ali, who lost in previous elections, does not want to contest against KCR and is considering other places. Rao appealed to people to not waste their votes on leaders who are likely to lose the elections.

Rao also criticized the BJP candidate in Kamareddy who claimed that KCR would take away people’s lands if elected. He defended KCR as a leader who fought for and achieved Telangana statehood and served as the Chief Minister for two terms. Rao assured that if KCR comes to Kamareddy, he will bring development to the region.
