Nalgonda MLA candidate, Komatireddy Venkatreddy, made a strong statement during his election campaign. He promised that if the Congress party comes to power in the state, employees will receive their salaries on the first of every month and retired employees will get their pensions on time.
Venkatreddy made these remarks while campaigning door-to-door in ward-41 of Nalgonda town on Monday. He believes that the people of Telangana should have prosperous lives and not be under a dictatorial regime like the current government.
The Congress candidate criticized the government’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, saying that people were left to fend for themselves. He praised the Andhra Pradesh government for its Arogyasri program, which provided treatment to coronavirus patients.
Venkatreddy highlighted his past achievements in Nalgonda, such as the development of roads, railway flyover bridges, and village-to-village roads. He contrasted this with the current government’s inefficiencies, accusing them of only building one road with borrowed funds.
Furthermore, Venkatreddy accused the government of neglecting retired employees and not filling vacant positions in government departments. He also expressed concern about the declining state of the education system, which has led to the closure of several schools.
The Congress candidate is confident in his party’s chances and believes they will win all 12 seats in the Nalgonda district. He criticized the government for spreading misinformation about schemes in Karnataka and called out KCR and KTR for not personally visiting Karnataka to assess the situation.
The campaign event was attended by local representatives, leaders, and residents of the ward.
