Bhongir MP and Congress MLA candidate for Nalgonda, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, has stated that the Congress party is expected to win 12 assembly seats in the former Nalgonda district. Bhongir Congress candidate Kumbham Anil Kumar Reddy met with the MP in Hyderabad on Saturday.

During the meeting, Komatireddy emphasized that the Congress party works for the welfare of the 4 crore people in the state, rather than focusing on its leaders. He urged party members to ensure the victory of Congress in all seats and encouraged Bhongir voters to choose Anilkumar Reddy for the development of the constituency. He called on party leaders to put aside their differences and work together for Anil Reddy’s success. He also highlighted the poor performance of BRS in the past 10 years and urged Congress members to promote the Six Guarantees of the party in every village within the next 30 days.

Venkat Reddy reminded everyone that KCR, who once praised Sonia Gandhi for her role in forming Telangana State, is now questioning the presence of the Congress party. He referred to KCR’s hunger strike for statehood as a “Glucose strike” and defended his own 11-day hunger strike at Clock Tower in Nalgonda, stating that it was done in the best interests of the people. He also mentioned that he sacrificed his ministerial position after witnessing the suicides of youth for Telangana. Venkat Reddy pointed out that not a single project built during the Congress regime has suffered significant damages so far, unlike the Medigadda project.
