Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan is meeting with top BJP leaders in Delhi today to discuss the alliance between the two parties. The meeting will also address the possibility of fielding common candidates for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections. Jana Sena leaders have already announced their intention to contest in 32 seats, so a joint competition with BJP could be beneficial. The outcome of the meeting will provide clarity on the alliance and the strategy for the Telangana elections. Last week, BJP state president Kishan Reddy and Lakshman had preliminary talks with Pawan Kalyan about the alliance. It remains to be seen if BJP and Jana Sena will contest together.
