The Congress party and the BJP are expected to announce their lists of candidates today, with only 39 days left until the elections. The Congress Central Election Committee is currently meeting in New Delhi to finalize their second list, which may include around 45 names. Similarly, the BJP is likely to release its first list later today, consisting of approximately 55 names. The BJP is focusing on social engineering and may have about 20 BC candidates in their first list.
In the first list, there will be three Members of Parliament (MPs). Some seats might be given to Jana Sena, while the Amberpet and Musheerabad seats are still undecided. It is anticipated that Eatala Rajender will be the BJP candidate to challenge KCR, and he will contest from Gajwel and Huzurabad constituencies.
In the meantime, the TPCC president A Revanth Reddy, former president N Uttam Kumar Reddy, and other leaders have rushed to Delhi upon receiving summons. The party is considering asking top leaders like Uttam or Revanth, who are also MPs, to contest against KCR.
