Former Congress leader K Jana Reddy spoke out against Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s autocratic rule in the state of Telangana. He attended a party workers’ meeting in Peddavoora mandal along with the party’s MLA candidate from Nagarjunasagar. Reddy urged the people to give the gift of a Congress victory to Sonia Gandhi, who played a crucial role in the formation of Telangana.
Reddy criticized CM KCR for his autocratic rule, using the police and power politics. He also pointed out that Telangana had the highest liquor sales in the country during KCR’s rule. Reddy requested the people of Nagarjuna Sagar constituency to support his son, Jai Veer Reddy, in the upcoming Assembly election.
In addition, former vice chairman of the Left canal, Malgireddy Linga Reddy, rejoined the Congress party during the meeting. Jana Reddy expressed his pleasure at Linga Reddy’s return and welcomed him back into the party.
