    The district administration in Khammam is reminding the public and political parties to follow the Model Code of Conduct, which will be in effect until December 5. People are being advised not to carry more than Rs 50,000 in cash. If larger amounts of cash are found, they will be taken and deposited with the district treasury. Those who need to carry cash for medical expenses, college fees, business transactions, weddings, or other needs should have proper proof such as account books, ATM slips, bills for cash sales of goods or grains, registration documents for land sales, and details of business transactions.

    If anyone has their cash seized, they can go to District Expenditure Monitoring Nodal Officer Vijaya Kumar at the Collectorate to get it released, according to District Collector V P Gautam. For further clarification, contact Vijaya Kumar at 9492104983.
