The Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) of Secunderabad Cantonment Board (SCB) are collecting data from locals to prepare a citizens’ manifesto for the upcoming Assembly polls. The aim is to highlight various civic issues in each ward and hand them over to the aspirants. The RWAs want the issues to be incorporated into the party poll manifesto and solved once the party comes to power.
The SCB residents are urging for development in areas such as proper road and drinking water, drainage system, hospitals, and educational institutions. They feel neglected and want their problems to be addressed this time. The RWAs have already started collecting data and will hand it over to political parties.
The manifesto will focus on highlighting the lack of proper road, drainage system, hospitals, educational institutions, and regular water supply. This will give a clear picture to the aspirants about the constituency’s concerns and ensure they are addressed once elected. A voter awareness campaign will also be organized next week to urge people to vote for the right leader.
Overall, the RWAs are taking action to address the civic issues in SCB before the Assembly polls. They hope that by highlighting these issues in their manifesto and organizing a voter awareness campaign, they can bring about positive change in their community.
