Hyderabad: BRS leader D Sravan Kumar criticized TPCC chief A Revanth Reddy for opposing the CM’s breakfast scheme for school children. Sravan Kumar stated that only those with perverted and sadistic mindsets would play politics with providing breakfast to children.
In an open letter to Reddy, Sravan Kumar expressed his disappointment with the politician’s views on the scheme. He believed that considering the money spent on breakfast for poor children as a waste of public expenditure showed arrogance and lack of empathy towards the underprivileged.
Sravan Kumar pointed out that Reddy had a problem with Chief Minister KCR’s efforts to ensure that 23 lakh children from poor backgrounds have access to education and health through the breakfast scheme. He described Reddy’s stance as “extremely disgusting and painful,” and criticized the politician for being feudal and wealthy.
The BRS leader emphasized the importance of providing breakfast to disadvantaged children and condemned Reddy’s attempts to obstruct the scheme. He felt that such actions only served to hinder the progress of underprivileged sections of society.
