Air India, owned by Tata Group, has unveiled the first look of its Airbus A350 aircraft with its new logo and design. The airline acquired Air India in 2000 and has made several changes since then. The newly painted A350 in the new color scheme was unveiled in Toulouse, France and will be in service during the upcoming winter season.

Air India shared pictures of the aircraft on social media, showcasing its fresh appearance. The airplane has undergone aesthetic changes, including the prominent red “Air India” on the right side near the windows and a modified tail design with orange, red, gold, and purple stripes.

The A350s will start arriving this winter, as revealed in photos taken at the paint shop in Toulouse. Along with the arrival of new aircraft, Air India changed its logo and livery in August 2023. The new logo called “The Vista” represents limitless opportunities and the airline’s optimistic vision for the future.

To enhance flight turnaround time, Air India has opened a large warehouse in Delhi to store over 1 million technical spare parts for aircraft. There are also reports suggesting that the airline’s mascot, Maharaja, may have a new role in airport lounges and premium classes, potentially ending its association with the airline’s image.
