Following the arrest of AAP leader Sanjay Singh in the Delhi Liquor Policy case, the ED summoned three of his associates today. The BJP held a press conference on Friday and targeted the AAP over Sanjay Singh’s detention by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the Delhi Liquor Policy issue.
During the press conference, BJP spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). He said that the party, which claimed to bring morals and values to Indian politics, has become worthless. Trivedi mentioned that two ministers from AAP were already imprisoned and now their parliamentary leader is being held by the ED in a corruption investigation.
Trivedi also mentioned that the Rouse Avenue Court has stated that it does not appear that the Delhi Excise Policy case, in which Sanjay Singh was arrested, is baseless. He further highlighted that corruption is becoming common in AAP as there have been arrests of other party members like Satendra Jain and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia.
Trivedi concluded by saying that experimental politics is no longer relevant and India is ready to play a new role on the world stage.
