Officials in Jagtial have disrupted the existing water supply system in order to provide water to newly-constructed double-bedroom houses. The residents of Indiramma Housing Colony are upset because they were promised all the facilities for their new houses, but now they don’t have enough water. The works to provide water to the new houses have damaged the pipelines, causing a shortage of water for the Indiramma Colony. Some houses are getting water in short supply, while others have no water at all. The water tank motors have also stopped working, making the situation even worse. The residents have been buying water with their own money and are struggling to afford it. They are asking for Minister KTR to take notice of their situation and make sure they have access to water. They have been pleading with the officials for a month, but nothing has been done. The residents are frustrated and angry that their pleas have been ignored and the water supply has not been restored.
