    The MAUD and IT Minister, K Taraka Rama Rao, has promised that if MLA Korukanti Chander is elected with a large majority in the next Assembly elections, he will adopt Ramagundam and work towards its overall development. Minister Koppula Eshwar, MP Venkatesh Neta, MLCs Banu Prasada Rao, L Ramana, Whip Balka Suman, and KTR also attended the Ramagundam Pragathi Nivedana Sabha at Godavarikhani Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium on Sunday.

    Minister KTR mentioned that the BRS government has been safeguarding the interests of Singareni Collieries. They have plans to build the Basanta Nagar airport, but the Center is hindering its progress. He reminded everyone that CM KCR has fulfilled the 14 promises made to the Singareni workers. The BRS government is the only one that has allocated 32% of the profit to Singareni workers, created 15,000 new jobs, and rehired 500 dismissed workers in Singareni.

    The State government has also approved a medical college for Ramagundam and provided a 5% quota of medical seats for the children of SCCL workers. The Prime Minister failed to promise that SCCL would not be privatized. Minister KTR demanded that SCCL should be given coal mines similar to Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation.
