State Agriculture Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy praised the Telangana government’s efforts in rural development. Speaking to over 2,500 residents of Wanaparthy at a community gathering in Hyderabad, Reddy highlighted the positive changes happening in rural Telangana, including the reversal of migration trends. He mentioned that people are now moving from towns to villages, which is a significant achievement for the state. Reddy attributed this shift to the government’s focus on providing irrigation water and clean drinking water to every acre of land. He also mentioned that Wanaparthy district has seen increased agricultural productivity with the irrigation of more than one lakh acres.

In addition to rural development, Reddy also emphasized the government’s progress in the education and healthcare sectors. He mentioned the establishment of medical, engineering, fisheries, and nursing colleges, as well as the development of a 600-bed hospital attached to a medical college. These initiatives reflect the state’s commitment to improving the lives of its residents.

The holistic approach to development has yielded positive results in various sectors including education, healthcare, electricity, transport, agriculture, and employment. Reddy called on the people to continue supporting the government’s efforts and stand by Chief Minister KCR, who is ready to take further initiatives for the progress and development of Telangana’s villages.
