Hyderabad: IT Minister and BRS Working President KT Rama Rao accused the BJP of spreading negativity about Telangana since its formation. He criticized the leaders in Delhi and local leaders for engaging in cheap politics and making statements that hurt the sentiments of Telangana.

KTR mentioned that PM Modi has decided to contest from Mahabubnagar Constituency this time and is scheduled to visit the same constituency on October 1. Before entering Mahabubnagar, KTR demanded that the Prime Minister answer the questions of the people of Telangana. He specifically asked why the Centre is causing trouble for the Palamuru Project while neighboring State Karnataka received many favors when it was in power. KTR reminded everyone that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had handed over a letter to PM Modi seeking support for the Palamuru Project, but after waiting for more than a year, they approached the High Court. It took five years for the case to be resolved, coinciding with KCR’s second term as Chief Minister. When the delegation asked the Centre, they were told to withdraw the case from the Supreme Court. KTR demanded an explanation from PM Modi regarding the failure to pass the order to provide the rightful 770TMC of water to Palamuru. He urged the PM to take action even after nine and a half years.

Regarding the rejection of the two MLC nominees by Governor Tamilisai, KTR highlighted that Dasoju Sravan is a professor and well-educated, and Kurra Satyanarayana has worked at the district level in trade unions. He questioned whether if these two nominees are considered unfit, then how can a person who was a state BJP president in Tamil Nadu be considered fit to hold the position of Governor of Telangana?

In response to Union Minister G Kishan Reddy, KTR mentioned that he is the only Central Minister who has failed to complete the construction of a flyover in his constituencies and the only Union Minister who did not resign during the Telangana movement.

KTR criticized PM Modi’s One Nation One Election concept as a political tactic to divert public attention. He referred to PM Modi as an inefficient leader, highlighting that under his regime, the value of the rupee has fallen, and inflation has reached its highest level. He also stated that PM Modi is probably the most corrupt person India has seen so far.

Regarding the arrest of Chandrababu Naidu, KTR made it clear that it is an issue between two political parties in Andhra Pradesh and has nothing to do with BRS. While expressing his friendship with Nara Lokesh, Jagan Mohan Reddy, and Pawan Kalyan, KTR emphasized that he cannot allow any rally in Hyderabad, especially in the IT corridor, as it poses a law and order issue. He stated that Chandrababu Naidu is fighting his legal battle, which is purely a matter of Andhra Pradesh and not Telangana.
