Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be flagging off the third Vande Bharat Express from Telangana on Sunday via video conference. The train service between Hyderabad (Kacheguda) and Bengaluru (Yesvantpur) will officially start on September 25.
This will be the first Vande Bharat Express connecting Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka. The train will start from Kacheguda Railway Station in Hyderabad and end at Yesvantpur Railway Station in Bengaluru, with stops at Mahbubnagar, Kurnool Town, Anantapur, and Dharmavaram.
The South-Central Railway authorities have stated that the train will cover a distance of 610 kilometers and the journey is expected to take 8.30 hours, which is 2.50 hours faster than the current fastest train on this route. The train consists of eight coaches, including seven air-conditioned chair cars and one executive chair car, with a capacity of up to 530 passengers. It will operate six days a week, with no service on Wednesdays.
Regular services for the Vande Bharat Express will begin on September 25 from Yesvantpur and on September 26 from Kacheguda.
