The 74th Milad-un-Nabi programme will be held by the Majlis-e-Tameer-e-Millat on September 24 at the Exhibition Grounds in Nampally. The organization has changed the date of the event to maintain peace in the city.
Every year, religious scholars from different parts of the country attend the programme to spread the message of peace, compassion, and unity that Prophet shared with the world centuries ago.
This year, Milad-un-Nabi falls on September 28, which coincides with the Ganesh immersion. To ensure peace and prevent any incidents, Tameer-e-Millat has decided to hold it on September 24, according to Mohammed Ziauddin Nayyer, the president.
The ‘Youme Rahmatul-lil-Alameen’ programme is eagerly awaited by the Muslim community as it serves as a beacon of hope in a world divided by differences. The programme was started 74 years ago by Maulana Syed Khaleelullah Hussaini and his associates with the goal of carrying forward the teachings of the Prophet.
Eminent scholars such as Maulana Obaidullah Khan Azmi, Maulana Mehdi Hassan Aini Qasmi, Mufti Khaleel Ahmed, Dr Ahsan Bin Mohammed Al Hamoomi, and others will speak about the Prophet’s message, emphasizing that his teachings are for all of humanity.
Additionally, a public meeting will be held on October 21 at Chanchalguda Junior College grounds to mark ‘Youme Sahaba’ (Prophet’s Companions Day).
