The union government celebrated Hyderabad Liberation Day to honor the Telangana martyrs who fought against the Nizam tyranny. The celebrations were colorful and filled with excitement. Union Home Minister Amit Shah attended as the chief guest. The police and army, including CRPF and CISF forces, participated in a parade, and Minister Shah received a guard of honor. Cultural performances were held at the Parade Grounds, including a special performance by ‘Nada Swaram Brundam’ that received a big applause. Minister Shah was overwhelmed by the cultural festivities. A group of women also performed Batukamma, the official flower festival of Telangana. The audience was entertained by various folk arts such as Women Dappu Nrutyam, Potaraju Nrutyam, Bonalu festival, Men Dappu Nrutyam, Lambada dance, Women Kolata dance with sticks, and Uggu dance.
