The Telangana Hindi Journalist Association and The Gujarati Social Welfare Society celebrated Hindi Day by honoring journalists and others who are working to promote the Hindi language. The celebration took place at Basheerbagh Press Club and included guests such as MLA T Raja Singh, S Venugopal Chary from the Telangana Irrigation Development Corporation, Palle Ravi Kumar Goud from the Toddy Tappers Cooperative Finance Corporation, and Jignesh Doshi, the president of the Gujarati Welfare Society.
During the event, MLA Raja Singh emphasized the importance of adopting Hindi with pride. He mentioned that he asks his questions in Hindi during Assembly sessions and has gained recognition through his Hindi speeches. Venugopal Chary also highlighted that Hindi is not only encouraged in India but also in foreign countries. This can be seen through the celebration of World Hindi Day on January 10, which aims to promote Hindi globally as it is one of the most widely spoken languages.
Palle Ravi Kumar mentioned that Hindi is taught in around 180 universities worldwide, indicating the significance of the language. The president of the association, MNS Kumar, stated that Hindi is the only language that can unite the entire nation.
