The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) recently held a meeting to discuss the introduction of cyber security courses at the undergraduate level. They also released a report from the Indian School of Business (ISB) on assessing assessments in higher education. TSCHE officials explained that due to the increasing number of cybercrimes and the potential danger they pose to individuals and organizations, they are taking steps to create a four-credit cyber security course for undergraduates.

To develop this course, a committee consisting of experts from fields such as law, computer science engineering, and the police department was formed. The goal is to address the stress and anxiety that students face during exams, both before and after the exams. The council recognizes the need for reforms in the assessment system to ensure its credibility and effectiveness.
