Telangana Industry Minister KT Rama Rao announced that the Palamuru Rangareddy project will be inaugurated on September 16. This is a significant event for Telangana. The Chief Minister, K Chandrashekar Rao, will attend a public meeting in Mahabubnagar on the same day, which is expected to be attended by around 200,000 people.
The Palamuru Rangareddy Lift Irrigation (PRLI) project will provide drinking and irrigation water for the Palamuru and Rangareddy districts. Despite facing many challenges, the government has successfully completed the project.
KTR emphasized that the construction of the Kaleshwaram and Palamuru projects by the State government is a matter of pride not only for Telangana but for all citizens of India. The plans for the project were made in 2001 and have been part of the Chief Minister’s vision since the days of the separate State agitation.
