Mulugu District Collector Tripathi held a review meeting with officials on Saturday to discuss the revision of the voter list. During the meeting, the District Collector personally examined the voter lists to check for any double entries in the clusters within the district.
During the meeting, it was decided that any objections and grievances that have been resolved or are still pending should be submitted to the polling center and mandals. It was emphasized that special attention should be given to objections and complaints received during special campaign days for voter registration and amendment. The registration rate of elderly voters should be increased, and there should be a focus on registering tribal and Chenchu voters, as well as collecting voting details of individuals above 80 years old, disabled individuals, and third gender individuals.
