Delhi is getting ready to host the G-20 Summit at Pragati Maidan. Many international delegates have already arrived in the city for this important meeting. To make it easier for the Summit to take place, schools, colleges, banks, and other businesses have been asked to temporarily close, which will help reduce traffic. Schools will reopen on Monday.

The Delhi government’s Department of Education has declared September 8 as a holiday for students and staff. They have also asked education department personnel to be prepared in case extra staff is needed during the G20 Summit.
