The Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, Errabelli Dayakar Rao, is thrilled to see his dream come true of popularizing the Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamy Temple at Valmidi. He wanted to make it as great as possible. Errabelli not only secured funds from the State Government but also personally supervised the progress of the temple’s development. The temple has all the necessary facilities for the comfort of devotees. The minister’s goal was to create a tourism circuit with Valmidi, Palakurthi, and Bammera, which are historically significant. Valmidi alone is being improved with an investment of Rs 11.40 crore.

Meanwhile, the four-day festival for the reinstallation of the presiding deities in the newly constructed temple on Ramulagutta is currently on its third day. Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swami will participate in the reinstallation of the idols on Monday morning. It’s been reported that the Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao, who was supposed to inaugurate the new temple, had to cancel his plans. Initially, it was announced that the Chief Minister would lay the foundation stone for the tourism hotel at Palakurthi and inaugurate the Mission Bhagiratha guest house. The district administration has made extensive arrangements to ensure the comfort of the devotees who are already flocking to Valmidi in large numbers. Prominent participants in the program include Ministers T Harish Rao, Satyavathi Rathod, A Indrakaran Reddy, and V Srinivas Goud.
