The 14th Nursery Mela has returned to Necklace Road in Rangareddy after a year. Many people, especially garden enthusiasts, are visiting the event with their families. They can see various types of floral, ornamental, and vegetable seeds and saplings, as well as gardening tools.
The mela offers a wide range of seeds and saplings for flowers, ornamental plants, and vegetables. People can also find potting mixture and gardening tools to help them create their own greenhouse on their terrace or backyard.
This year’s mela includes a new feature, herbal medicines introduced by Al-Arif General Hospital and Unani Research Institute from Bandlaguda. These medicines promote Unani medicine, a traditional healing system practiced in South Asia.
The stall of the Unani Pharmacy at the mela has attracted many people who are familiar with or have benefited from Unani medicines. They can find healing remedies for joint pains, kidney and skin diseases, sinus problems, and hair fall.
Dr. Syed Tauheed, the director of the institute, explained that people are not only buying medicines but also learning about the benefits of Unani medicine. Dr. Najeeb Khan, another director, expressed his happiness over the positive response to their stall.
The mela will continue until September 5, and the Unani Pharmacy stall will remain open for two more days.
