    The Election Commission will speed up the printing of Elector Photo Identity Cards (EPIC) in the GHMC area. The Chief Electoral Officer, Vikas Raj, directed the District Election Officers to schedule the printing of these cards every 15 days to ensure they reach eligible voters promptly.

    During a meeting attended by DEOs and EROs covering all constituencies within the GHMC area, the CEO emphasized the importance of effectively handling forms 6, 7, and 8 for voter registration, addressing objections, and managing voter transfers. EROs were instructed to dispose of forms daily and prepare an action plan for timely disposal.

    The CEO also highlighted the need for SVEEP activities to promote electoral awareness. DEOs were requested to focus on the participation of Electoral Literacy Clubs and collaborate with local influencers to encourage citizens to enroll as voters.

    The meeting was attended by several officials, including Joint CEO Sarfraz Ahmad, GHMC Commissioner & DEO Ronald Rose, and Collectors & DEOs from Rangareddy, Medchal-Malkajgiri, and Hyderabad districts.
