    The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has decided to hold a lucky draw for girls and women in celebration of Raksha Bandhan. The winners of this draw will receive attractive prizes worth Rs 5.50 lakh. A total of 33 prizes will be given to three winners in each region.

    To participate in the lucky draw, women must travel on TSRTC buses on August 30 and 31. After their journey, they should write their names and phone numbers on the back of their ticket and drop it into the designated box. The lucky draw will take place in each region and three winners will be chosen by officials. The prizes will be given to the winners by special guests.

    TSRTC MD VC Sajjanar announced that the corporation has set up drop boxes at every bus stand and busy passenger areas. They encourage all women travelers to participate in the lucky draw to have a chance to win valuable prizes. The lucky draws will be conducted by September 9, and the prizes will be distributed to the winners.

    In addition, to ensure a smooth journey for passengers going to their hometowns on Raksha Bandhan, TSRTC has arranged 3,000 special buses across the state. These special buses will operate on August 29, 30, and 31, with 1,000 services running each day.

    The special buses have been arranged based on passenger traffic on routes from Hyderabad to Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Hanamkonda, Khammam, Nalgonda, Mahabubnagar, Godavarikhani, and Mancherial.
