The Shamshabad International Airport in Hyderabad received a bomb threat via email. The person claimed that a bomb had been planted at the airport and would explode at 7 pm. The bomb squad, dog squad, and local police were alerted and conducted a thorough inspection. Thankfully, no bomb was found.
However, another email was received from a different address. The sender explained that their child had sent the previous threatening email while playing with the phone. They apologized for the incident.
The airport officials have filed a complaint with the local police, and an investigation is underway to find the person responsible for sending the threatening email.
