Wyra MLA L Ramulunaik expressed his disappointment for not receiving the BRS party ticket. However, he made some interesting comments during a meeting in Wyra town on Monday. At the meeting, he participated in the distribution of cheques for various schemes. He stated that despite not getting the party ticket, he would remain loyal to the BRS party and Chief K Chandrashekar Rao. He emphasized that nobody should question party decisions and should follow the instructions of the party high command. Ramulunaik also apologized if he had caused any trouble to anyone during his term. He urged the people to vote for the party’s chosen candidate and ensure that KCR becomes the Chief Minister for the third time.
In the erstwhile Khammam district, the BRS party high command gave tickets to all the existing MLAs except in Wyra. Ramulunaik was elected as an Independent candidate with the support of Congress leader Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy in the previous elections. Afterward, he joined the BRS party. However, this time, the party ignored him and announced B Madanlal as their candidate, who had previously been defeated by Ramulunaik in the last elections.
A notable incident occurred on Monday when BRS nominee Madhan Lal met Ramulunaik at his camp office. Both leaders have separate factions in Wyra. This meeting attracted attention and the photos became viral on social media platforms.
