Key activists gathered in Jilledu Chaudharyguda village as TPCC General Secretary Veerlapalli Shankar criticized the BRS party for making false promises. The meeting was organized by Chalivendram Palli Raju, the Congress party mandal president of Jilledu Chaudharyguda, and many workers attended.
During the meeting, the Congress party highlighted its renewed energy and revealed its new slogan. Shankar pointed out that although the Chief Minister, K Chandrashekar Rao, continues to make promises, the actual results are not seen.
The gathering also reminded people of the Congress party’s past efforts in rural welfare, showing evidence of successful welfare schemes that benefited villages.
Shankar compared the achievements of the Congress party under YSR’s leadership to criticize the BRS government for imposing unnecessary restrictions on their schemes.
He expressed concerns about the rising prices of essential commodities like gas, diesel, and petrol, and pledged that the Congress party would launch substantial schemes like “Arogya Shri,” which offers free medical care worth five lakh rupees to all citizens.
Shankar also promised to provide plots to those without land in villages and nine types of ration goods to the underprivileged. He emphasized that a holistic approach is needed to address people’s issues, rather than relying on superficial solutions like saree distributions.
