Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police teams have caught one accused from a notorious chaddi gang. They seized eight tolas of gold worth Rs 4 lakh. The accused was involved in four cases in Miyapur and Ameenpur police station limits.

On Wednesday, the Miyapur police apprehended the accused at Lingampally railway station based on credible information. The accused, identified as Minama Mukeshbhai Bharubhai (27) from Dahod district in Gujarat, was involved in burglary cases.

The police have stated that two other accused, Vikrambhai Dariyabhai Parmar (25) and Mohaniya Nitinbhai (25), both from Gujarat, are currently absconding. Another accused from the gang, Surmalbhai Kaliyabhai (20) from Gujarat, has been arrested by Keshod PS in Junagadh district.

DCP Madhapur G Sudeep has confirmed that all the accused belong to the state of Gujarat. Vikram, who worked as a plumber in Hyderabad, suggested to Mukesh, Nitin, and Surmal that they should commit offenses in Hyderabad, as he had noticed some good houses with valuable items. The gang then decided to carry out their crimes in Hyderabad.

According to their plan, on August 8, they reached Hyderabad via Lingampally railway station. Vikram showed them the targeted houses in the Ameenpur area. In the evening, they sought shelter in the Ameenpur jungle area near the house they planned to target, in order to avoid any unwanted attention.

“When going to commit the offenses, they dressed up in underwear and baniyan, covered their faces with rumaal, carried footwear in their hands, and tied up their shirts and pants at their waists to avoid obstacles and escape from crime scenes. After committing the crimes, they hid in bushes until early morning to avoid any unwanted attention,” said DCP.
