Union Minister and State BJP chief G Kishan Reddy announced that his party will unveil its farmers’ welfare policy at a public meeting attended by Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The meeting, called “Rutu Gosa-BJP Bharosa,” will address the issues faced by farmers in Telangana.

Reddy criticized the government for its inefficient policies that have caused problems for the state’s farmers. He accused Chief Minister KCR and his family of not implementing a comprehensive crop insurance policy, causing trouble for farmers. Reddy also mentioned that the farm loan waiver scheme introduced by KCR before the elections has resulted in doubled interest on loans and left many tenant farmers in a difficult situation. He emphasized that the Rythu Bandhu Scheme alone cannot solve all the problems faced by farmers.

On the other hand, Reddy highlighted the efforts of the Central government in supporting farmers through initiatives such as paddy procurement, urea subsidy, and Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi. He criticized the BRS (Bharatiya Rashtravadi Samanta) party for cheating farmers and stated that his party will continue to fight against them until they are removed from power.
