    Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police, along with the Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC), held a road safety and traffic management program at Deloitte on Thursday.

    During the program, the employees were taught about road signs, driving in the wrong direction, staying in their lanes, and the Motor Vehicle Driving Regulation (MVDR) Act. They were also educated about responsible road behavior and shown real-time traffic situations that lead to accidents. A group analysis was conducted to demonstrate how careless behavior can result in fatal accidents.

    The participants were informed about what could have been done to prevent such scenarios. Harshvardhan, DCP Traffic-1Cyberabad, discussed how the industry can assist the police in ensuring smooth traffic flow in busy IT corridors and the role of volunteers in creating safe traffic zones. Other officials present at the event included Srinivas Reddy, ADCP Traffic, Ranveer Reddy, ACP Traffic, Appala Naidu, Inspector Traffic Training Institute, Lalita Tims, Keshav Bhandari, and members of SCSC.

    It is worth mentioning that Harshvardhan, IPS, was a former employee of Deloitte before joining the Indian Police Service. His return as an IPS officer brought joy and excitement to the campus. Deloitte expressed its support and willingness to participate in Cyberabad’s ongoing traffic volunteer initiatives.
