Congress leader Mohammed Ali Shabbir is confident that he will win the Kamareddy constituency against Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao in the next Assembly elections. Shabbir Ali received a warm welcome during his visit to Kamareddy, with hundreds of villagers and Congress leaders expressing their support. Various caste groups and Mudiraj Sangham leaders also pledged their support to Shabbir Ali in defeating KCR.
Speaking at the event, Shabbir Ali criticized CM KCR for contesting from both Kamareddy and Gajwel, stating that this gives the people an opportunity to make him lose twice. He accused KCR of not fulfilling his election promises and taking advantage of different groups. Shabbir Ali believes that KCR deserves not one, but two defeats and embarrassment.
Shabbir Ali demanded an apology from KCR to the people of Kamareddy for neglecting them over the past decade. He highlighted the disparity in assistance provided under the Dalit Bandu scheme, where families in KCR’s native village received Rs. 10 lakh assistance while families in Konapur village were overlooked. Shabbir Ali also expressed disappointment over KCR’s negligence towards the Mudiraj community.
Furthermore, Shabbir Ali criticized BRS MLAs for their non-performance and lack of popularity. He claimed that many BRS MLAs received tickets because no other strong candidate wanted to take the risk of contesting on a BRS ticket.
Shabbir Ali emphasized that it will not be easy for KCR to defeat a ‘Kamareddy Bidda’ (son of Kamareddy) in his own ‘Adda’. He highlighted his deep connection with Kamareddy, having been elected as an MLA and minister from the constituency in the past. Unlike KCR, Shabbir Ali stated that he has always stayed with his people and never considered changing his constituency. He believes that the people of Kamareddy will support their own and KCR will learn this in the upcoming elections.
