Leaders from the BRS party, including MLAs and ticket aspirants, are going to MLC K Kavitha’s house to ask for tickets. This is happening while Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is expected to announce the candidate list for the upcoming elections and BRS Working President KT Rama Rao is on a trip to the US. The leaders are meeting Kavitha at the last minute in hopes of securing a ticket. Some of these leaders are worried about not getting a ticket and are trying their luck by talking to Kavitha and asking her to speak on their behalf to the chief minister. They want the party to give tickets to those who were part of the Telangana agitation.
It all started with Uppal leaders MLA Bheti Subhash Reddy and former mayor Bonthu Rammohan meeting Kavitha and requesting tickets for the ‘Udyamakarulu’. With BRS Working President on the US trip, the leaders see Kavitha as their only option to be heard by the chief minister.
