The political activity in the state is getting more intense every day. The BRS is expected to announce the list of 105 party candidates for the Assembly polls, while the Telangana Congress is planning to start a full-fledged campaign from Chevella on August 26. AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge will attend this big meeting and release the SC, ST declarations.
After that, there will be more public meetings with Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi as speakers. Sonia Gandhi will release the party manifesto on September 17, which is Telangana Liberation Day. Rahul Gandhi will release the minority resolution at a public meeting in Warangal. Priyanka Gandhi will release the Women’s Declaration, possibly in Hyderabad.
The Telangana Congress has finalized this roadmap during their meeting at Gandhi Bhavan. From August 21 to 25, all the leaders will hold meetings at the Assembly constituency level to mobilize people for the public meetings. The TPCC will distribute Congress Guarantee cards to gain the trust of all sections. Leaders will also visit every house to distribute these cards.
Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar is guiding the TPCC in preparing the road map. There are speculations that he may play an active role in the campaign and provide financial help if needed. The TPCC leaders will spread out across the state and conduct mass campaigns to expose the shortcomings of the BRS government.
