A 5K run called ‘I Vote for sure’ was organized across the State and over 100 Assembly constituencies to encourage youth to participate in the electoral process and raise awareness about the importance of voting. Around 50,000 citizens participated in the event as part of the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation program by the Election Commission of India.

The program was organized at the State level following the instructions of the ECI, which mandates awareness campaigns under SVEEP. District Election Officers, District Collectors, and Electoral Registration Officers participated in the program along with people of different age groups.

EVM models along with VVPATs are being demonstrated across the State, both at static centers and mobile ones. Static centers are located at major places, while mobile EVMs are placed at public places or schools to provide a clear understanding of how the machines work. This initiative aims to familiarize voters, especially first-timers, with the voting process and demonstrate how their votes are reflected in the overall mechanism.
