The construction of the integrated district collectorate complex in Suryapet is complete. The modern complex is spread over an area of 21 acres and consists of spacious buildings surrounded by greenery. It is a two-storied building with a total of 37 departments. The complex will be powered by solar energy, making it the first of its kind in the country. The project cost Rs 65 crore and was closely overseen by Minister Guntakandla Jagadish Reddy. CM KCR will inaugurate the complex during his visit to Suryapet on August 20.

The ground floor of the complex has a collector’s chamber and two additional collectors’ chambers. There are also special chambers for their assistants, meeting halls, and video conference halls nearby. The respective departments have been allotted rooms on the ground floor. On the first floor, there is a chamber for the district minister and his staff, as well as a mini meeting hall. The second floor has rooms allocated to departments based on the number of employees, with separate cabins for departments with one or two employees.
