The BJP spokesperson, Syed Zafar Islam, expressed confidence that the BJP would defeat the alliance between BRS, Congress, and AIMIM and come to power in Telangana. He stated that the BJP government would expose the corruption of BRS in the last 10 years and ensure that they face consequences for their actions.
Islam dismissed reports that BRS MLC K Kavitha was let off by Central agencies, claiming that she was involved in the Delhi liquor scam. He emphasized that she would face consequences just like Delhi Minister Manish Sisodia did. He clarified that while the BJP does not interfere in agency processes, they make their policy of zero tolerance towards corruption clear to both the people and the agencies.
Islam accused BRS of hiding its failures and misleading the people of Telangana by diverting attention with questions to the BJP. He claimed that the state government is working like a money-making machine to benefit a family and that BRS has turned into looters instead of serving the people.
The BJP leader mentioned that BRS and Congress are in talks for possible alliances, both before and after the election. He referred to PM Modi’s Independence Day address, highlighting the need to root out corruption, dynastic politics, and appeasement. Islam criticized BRS for aligning with AIMIM for minority vote bank politics and joining hands with parties involved in corruption.
Islam also criticized TPCC chief Revanth Reddy and promised that the BJP would expose Congress, BRS, and AIMIM every day during their election campaign. He stated that the Congress has made false promises to Muslims for their votes and highlighted the benefits of central schemes for Muslims across the country.
Islam concluded by stating that if the BJP comes to power in Telangana, they would work efficiently and fairly, addressing the concerns of youth, creating jobs, empowering women, and improving law and order. He assured that their schemes would benefit all sections of society.
