    Police in Rangareddy, specifically the Kothur police station, conducted successful raids that resulted in the arrest of three individuals and the seizure of two kilograms of ganja. The operation took place at Kesari Material Private Limited and Mahaveer Private Limited Company. This highlights the ongoing efforts to combat the illegal drug trade. Kothur Circle Inspector, Shankar Reddy, provided details about the operation during a media briefing.

    According to reliable sources, both companies were allegedly involved in selling ganja. Acting quickly on this information, the Kothur police conducted thorough inspections, leading to the seizure of two kilograms of ganja and three mobile phones.

    During the operation, two individuals named Manoj Kumar Mahakunda and Sanjit Dandapat were arrested at Kesari Material Private Limited. Another person named Shiva Pratharna was detained at Mahaveer Private Limited. Further investigation revealed that the arrested individuals had connections to a ganja supplier named Anand from Odisha. However, Anand is currently evading arrest and is being pursued by the police.

    Kothur Circle Inspector Shankar Reddy revealed that the arrested individuals have been remanded for further investigation as authorities continue to gather more information about the case. The Circle Inspector also urged owners of various industries to cooperate with the police by promptly reporting any suspicions or knowledge of ganja-related activities occurring within their establishments. The press conference also included the participation of other key figures such as SI’s K Srinivas and G Srinivas, constables Yadagiri and Gopal, and home guard Ramesh.
