A 6-year-old boy was found dead in an abandoned well in Narsingi, Rangareddy district on the outskirts of Hyderabad. The boy had been missing since Tuesday evening. His parents had searched for him in the neighborhood but couldn’t find him, so they reported him missing to the Narsingi Police Station. The police conducted a search operation and discovered the body in the well on Wednesday. The body was retrieved by a team of fire services personnel and sent for autopsy at Osmania General Hospital. An investigation is underway to determine if the boy fell into the well accidentally or if there was foul play involved. The well did not have any protective walls, suggesting that the boy may have fallen into it accidentally.
