    Adilabad: The implementation of the Integrated Land Records Management System-Dharani portal has caused difficulties for many Adivasis and small farmers in the mutation process. This has resulted in marginal farmers being unable to access the Rythu Bandhu input subsidy and Rythu Bheema provided by the State government.

    Land succession involves transferring ownership records from parents to legal heirs. If a recently sold land has not been mutated in the new owner’s name, they will be denied compensation. However, this does not apply to residential properties.

    Madavi Raju from Utnoor mandal in Adilabad district explained that many poor Adivasi families are unable to afford the fees for land mutation, which is non-refundable and costs Rs. 2750 to 3000 per acre.
