The heavy rains in the city caused many problems for the residents. Roads were flooded, causing traffic jams in several areas. Some roads were also damaged by the rain. The worst-hit areas included Venkatrama Reddy colony in Boduppal, Peerzadiguda, Vishnupuri Colony, Ayyappa Colony, East Anandbagh, Balaji Nagar, and Yapral. Many people were affected and had to seek safety as their houses got filled with rainwater.

Due to the slippery roads, two-wheeler riders had difficulty maneuvering. People had to walk through knee-deep water to reach their destinations. The clogged drains also raised concerns about the spread of diseases. Residents were angry at the municipal authorities for not taking timely action to prevent the situation from worsening.
