State BJP chief G Kishan Reddy attended a meeting of the party’s SC Morcha in Hyderabad. He urged them to continue fighting until all deserving Dalits receive the benefits of the Dalit Bandhu scheme. Reddy emphasized the need to address public issues leading up to the upcoming assembly elections. He criticized Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for neglecting Dalits and urged the SC Morcha to fight on their behalf.
Reddy acknowledged that while CM KCR initially showed bravery in implementing the Dalit Bandhu scheme, its implementation has been delayed. He urged the SC Morcha leaders to persist until every eligible Dalit in the state receives the benefits. Reddy also highlighted the issue of Dalits being unable to access government welfare schemes due to a lack of new ration cards being issued for 9 years.
Reddy criticized CM KCR for failing to fulfill his promises to the Dalits, from having a Dalit Chief Minister to implementing the Dalit Bandhu scheme. He urged the Morcha leaders to fight relentlessly against CM KCR’s neglect of the Dalits for the next three months. Reddy expressed confidence that only the BJP has the power to remove the current government and provide corruption-free governance and development in Telangana.
The meeting also discussed various topics, including the upcoming assembly elections, and prepared a road map with this objective in mind. Several leaders and members of the SC Morcha participated in the meeting.
